UPPER LAKE ? Upper Lake volleyball lost to Middletown on Tuesday with varsity scores: 25-18, 25-23 and 25-22.
Junior varsity scores were: 25-8 and 25-18
The JV”s played a lot better in game two, according to Coach Sandy Coatney of Upper Lake.
“The girls played a lot more intensely tonight, we just couldn”t get it down,” Coatney said. There were 10 kills and 17 hitting errors.
Standout player was Bobbie Lynn Collins with five kills.
“Passing was better, we still need to work on it. We need to work on hitting, too. Amber McQueen led the team in digs. The team will play Monday in Fort Bragg at 4:30 p.m.
