CLEARLAKE — Service of a search warrant Friday resulted in the arrest of Arturo Figueroa Olmedo, 33, of Clearlake on drugs and firearm charges. Money and property were seized during service of the warrant.

According to Clearlake Police Lt. Craig Clausen, information brought to the department a couple days prior to Olmedo”s arrest led to the securing of a search warrant, which was signed by Judge Richard Martin. The search warrant was served on a residence on the 5700 block of Cottage Avenue at approximately 8 p.m. Friday.

Clausen said that $1,500 was seized pending asset forfeiture as well as an undisclosed amount of growing and processed marijuana.

Clausen said that nine other people were contacted during service of the warrant, which he said resulted in additional arrests for various minor violations.

Olmedo was booked into Lake County Jail for marijuana cultivation, possession of marijuana for sale and for committing a felony while armed with a firearm.
