KELSEYVILLE — The Middletown Mustangs overpowered the Kelseyville Knights 10-0 in North Central League I North girls” soccer action on Tuesday afternoon in Kelseyville.
Middletown (2-0, 9-1-1) led 8-0 after the first half.
“Everybody got a lot of playing time and got to try other positions,” Middletown co-coach Louise Owens said.
Emily Reed, Kelly Wilkinson, Brittany Cash and Kylie Agapoff scored two goals apiece Middletown. Reed also had two assists. Paloma Colacion added a goal and an assist and Tanya Nance also scored for Middletown.
“Paloma Colacion had a great game,” Owens said.
Two other standouts for Middletown were Nance and Alicia Solomon, according to Owens.
“I just told them to take pride in what you”re doing and just play hard,” Kelseyville coach Christie Fricke said.
