The American Heritage Dictionary definition of bigot is: a person who is rigidly devoted to his or her own group, religion, race or politics and is intolerant of those who differ. It seems a young man was fired from his position because he openly stated that all of us were bigots, according to FOX News on Oct. 4.
If my father, his parents and grandparents had not been bigots they never would have left Russia in 1917. They would not give up the freedom to worship as they choose, not as the government declared that they should.
