KELSEYVILLE — Jennifer Green had a big night for the Kelseyville Knights, but the Willits Wolverines improved to 4-0 in the North Central League I North varsity volleyball standings with a hard-fought 25-23, 23-25, 25-22, 25-15 victory on Monday night in Kelseyville.
Green led the young Knights (1-3) with 11 kills, five blocks and seven aces. Mandy Spitzer added seven kills and Ariel Facey had four.
The passing of Kyra Rudnick and Dakota Rixen played a big role in one of the Knights” best efforts of the season, according to coach Donelle McCallister.
Kelseyville hosts Fort Bragg tonight.
