CLEARLAKE — A report of a party where minors were allegedly consuming alcohol resulted in the arrest of two 24-year-old men early Saturday morning.
Luis Cortez Arroyo, of Kelseyville and Saul Ethan Lefort of Clearlake were arrested and booked into Lake County Jail for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
“There is an ordinance in place in this city that prohibits underage drinking without parental supervision even at private parties,” Clausen said. “This is an important reminder for parents to be diligent in where their children are going and what kind of activities they may be engaged in.”
According to Clearlake Police Lt. Craig Clausen, officers responded to a residence on the 3000 block of Bush Street in the Clearlake Park area where they found eight minors under the influence of alcohol.
He said parents were contacted and the minors were released to them. Clausen said some of the minors were also found to be under the influence of Ecstasy.
