LAKEPORT — Lake County Theatre Company”s production of “The Rocky Horror Show” by Richard O”Brian opens with a performance at 7 p.m. Friday at the Lake County Fairgrounds” Little Theatre.
According to publicist Suna Flores, the show is by and for young people. “None of the leads in ?Rocky” are over the age of 35,” Flores said. “The director, Tim Barns, is in his 20s. The producer, Jenna Radke, looks like she is still in high school. But this pair of creative souls rocks.”
Flores said she had an “enlightening conversation with a minister at one of our local churches who assured me that he would not miss this show and might even come twice. Imagine that ? and he is even going to dress up as many of the afficianados do.”
Performances take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Oct. 29, 30, Nov. 5 and 6 with midnight showings this Saturday as well as Oct. 30 and Nov. 6.
Tickets for “The Rocky Horror Show” are available at $25 for VIP sofa seating, $20 for reserved and $15 for general seating. Children younger than 18 will not be admitted without a parent. The cast strongly recommends that no one younger than 13 attend this production.
