LAKEPORT — A free basketball clinic for boys and girls in grades third through eighth takes place Saturday at United Christian Parish, which is located at Seventh and Brush streets in Lakeport.
Sponsored by United Christian Parish, the clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 11:45 and is followed by a free hot dog lunch for all participants. You can register the day of the clinic beginning at 9:30 a.m.
An all-star cast of community coaches lead the clinic. Coaches include Ken Hook, Paul McGuire, Kory Reynolds, Scott De Leon, Jennifer Goff, Brent Pomeroy, Joey Wind, Kaila Sterbank and Bob Mayer. Shooting, passing, dribbling, team play and more will be covered.
