14 months? Well, I”ve only been reading the Record-Bee for six months and already I miss Katy.
I don”t know her personally; I”ve never even met her. Congratulations on your new job in Chico. My heart dropped when I started reading her column on Sept. 16, and was hoping she”d decline the offer. However, before I was even finished reading, I knew she wouldn”t.
I moved to this county in 2001 and have since moved back a couple of times. But I never really liked it up here.
Small town, dirt roads, among other things. It was kind of a turn off. But I must admit that after reading the Record-Bee over the last six months, I have grown quite fond of your newspaper and because of what I have learned from it, started to warm up to this county.
I guess you could say there is more than meets the eye. I still plan to purchase a home in Sonoma County but I know now I can”t abandon this place altogether and will buy a home here as well.
No matter where I move to, I plan to remain one of the subscribers to this paper as long as it is deliverable.
Here is to the next six months of ink.
