LAKEPORT — You can learn to referee youth basketball games Dec. 11 at Clear Lake High School in Lakeport. The clinic takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $20.
If you love working with children, serving your community and believe sportsmanship and safety are first and foremost in sports, then this clinic is for you. Whether you just want a better understanding of the rules of the game or want to learn the skills necessary to officiate youth basketball, this is your opportunity.
Take advantage of classroom instruction and on-court “real world” training by professional referee Travis Totten to become a recreational basketball official.

The first 20 to register receive The Love to Referee handbook free of charge. Others can purchase the handbook for $10.
