KELSEYVILLE — The driver of an orange Chevrolet car attempted to make a left-hand turn from Main Street onto Highway 29 in Kelseyville Monday around 3:20 p.m., but missed the southbound merging lane, turning instead into the northbound lane, according to California Highway Patrol officer Mark Crutcher. The car collided head-on with a green SUV going northbound on Highway 29, Crutcher said. Four to five people were injured in the collision and an unconfirmed number were airlifted from the Kelseyville High School football field.
