CLEARLAKE OAKS — The Lake County Sheriff”s Office responded to a reported home invasion and armed robbery at a house on Plaza Street in Clearlake Oaks Monday evening, according to Capt. James Bauman of the LCSO.

The suspects, described as three black males, left the house before authorities arrived, Bauman said.

The victims were Dustin Warner, his girlfriend Jerni Hubman and their young child, Bauman said. Warner opened the front door around 6:40 p.m. after an acquaintance known as “T.T.” had knocked, Bauman said.

After letting “T.T.” into the house, a second man entered as Warner moved to shut the door, Bauman said. “T.T.” then pulled out a semi-automatic gun and forced Warner to the floor, Bauman said, while a third man entered the house.

The individuals forced Hubman and the child into a bedroom before asking Warner to remove the contents of an unlocked safe in the bathroom, Bauman said. The individuals stole two to three ounces of marijuana from the safe, as well as a 42-inch flat screen television, a laptop computer and a Nintendo Wii from the house.

“T.T.” was described as a thin black man with dreadlocks and tattoos on both arms, Bauman said. The other two men were described as “clean cut” black males, according to Bauman.

The three individuals left the house in a light blue pickup truck with an extended cab, Bauman said. The three victims sustained no apparent injuries, according to Bauman.
