CLEARLAKE — Clearlake City Staff was among many recognized for their contributions to the operation of the city during the council”s final regular meeting of 2010 on Dec. 9. Mayor Judy Thein called City Staff the foundation that is keeping the city going.
Those present to receive the recognition included City Clerk Melissa Swanson, Payroll Clerk Maryna Smith, Accounts Clerk Carla Coale, Volunteer Michelle Clark and Grants Technician Adeline Brown. Permit Technician Julie Burrow and Building Official Scott Spivey were unable to attend.
The proclamation presented to City Staff reads as follows:
“WHEREAS, the City Staff of the City of Clearlake is an essential element of the City of Clearlake; and
“WHEREAS, the City Staff performs assigned duties in order that their service to the community supports the best interests of the City; and
“WHEREAS, the City Staff of the City of Clearlake works tenaciously to support the growth of our City; and
“WHEREAS, each member of the City Staff is a valuable asset offering their own individual uniqueness to the betterment of our community; and
“WHEREAS, the level of dedication of the City Staff supports the efforts of the Clearlake City Council.
“THEREFORE LET IT BE PROCLAIMED that the City Council of the City of Clearlake hereby recognizes the efforts of the City of Clearlake staff for their hard work and dedication to the City of Clearlake.”
