LOWER LAKE — A single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon resulted in minor injuries and complaints of pain from the female driver. According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be factors in the incident.

According to CHP, at about 4:35 p.m. Christine M. Dibala, 26, of Clearlake was traveling northbound on Highway 29 in a 1991 Geo Prism on Coyote Grade, north of Spruce Grove Road South.

CHP said it appears Dibala allowed her vehicle to drift off the right hand shoulder. She over-corrected and lost control of the vehicle, CHP said. The vehicle then went off the east side of the roadway.

The northbound slow lane was blocked.

Dibala was transported via South County Fire medics to St. Helena Hospital Clearlake for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

The incident remains under the investigation of Officer R. Jensen.
