LAKEPORT — Lake County”s quagga mussel prevention program recently gained national attention when it was featured in a Viagra commercial on national television during one of the college bowl games.
Greg Giusti of Kelseyville said that he was watching the Cotton Bowl football game over the weekend on ESPN when he noticed a Viagra commercial featuring a pleasure boat racing across the water with a smiling man at the wheel.
Much to Giusti”s surprise the boat had a Lake County quagga mussel sticker attached to its side. Giusti said that he saw the commercial several more times and there was the sticker. He said the boat had a Nevada CF number so it wasn”t a Lake County boat.
