LAKEPORT — A judge Monday continued a pre-trial hearing in the cases against Thomas Dudney and Joshua Wandrey after Dudney”s attorney informed the court his client intended to ask for new counsel.
Dudney, of Fulton, and Wandrey, of Rohnert Park, face 11 felony charges, including torture, first-degree battery, attempted murder and assault with a firearm, after allegedly shooting, torturing and hogtying Ronald Greiner in his Lakeport home on Oct. 20, 2009.
Attorney Doug Rhoades, who currently represents Dudney, informed judge David Herrick of Dudney”s intended request during a mandatory settlement conference Monday afternoon at the Lake County Courthouse.
Herrick scheduled the motion regarding new counsel for Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in Department 3. The settlement conference and a trial readiness conference will also occur at that time.
