No one wants quaggas. The efforts and costs of trying to keep our lake free of them comes up often. Sadly my belief is that they will get here, sort of like the well-intentioned idiot who put Northern Pike into Lake Davis.
I think it would be clarifying and help understanding of the problem if some one (and there are good sources) would present what the lake might be like in 10 years after an infestation became a reality. This would also allow a comparison of the costs to stay clear of quaggas as opposed to the cost of having to live with them.
