CLEARLAKE — Clearlake Police are searching for three suspects allegedly involved in an armed robbery that occurred at a residence Tuesday afternoon in Clearlake. Police also seek information related to the vehicles allegedly associated with the incident.

According to Interim Police Chief Craig Clausen, at about 1:30 p.m. a Hispanic man approached the occupants of a house on the 3600 block of Peoney Street, allegedly pointed a handgun at them and demanded marijuana. The man is described as being 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing approximately 280 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.

Clausen said an altercation between the home”s occupants and the suspect ensued and the suspect left the area on a black sport motorcycle driven by another unknown suspect. Clausen said also associated with the incident is a newer black Jeep Liberty described by witnesses as “clean” and driven by a white man in his 20s.

Clausen said search of the area was conducted with negative results. Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact Officer D. Ramirez at the Clearlake Police Department, 994-8251.
