On Feb. 2 your excellent newspaper printed photographs and headlines supporting the Meals-On-Wheels program in Lake County. It is impressive that during these difficult times we read about the generosity of St. Helena Hospital”s medical staff donating $4,000 to help this program. Photos of Dr. Arthur Bikangaga presenting checks to senior center representatives were clearly displayed, but my surprise came from the omission of Lakeport Senior Center. It serves the largest area and number of clients in the community with a fantastic staff of volunteers. Is the Lakeport Senior Center not part of the community?
