I, too, am sorry to see Mr. Duncan discontinue his column. Never were they boring. He always noted his sources; in his penultimate column he referenced seven.
His detractors never offered any argument to the topic other than “Everyone knows that he is wrong” or “That he falsely believes …” Well, those rebuttals won”t get you on any debating team.
One detractor from Fresno, of all places, was upset that he misspelled a name.
Why is it that some are so threatened by ideas or opinions they do not agree with, but can”t refute? Because they are insecure in their beliefs.
I certainly hope the Lake County Record-Bee does not become the newspaper these people seem to want.
