LAKE COUNTY — According to Carolyn Ruttan of Lake County Water Resources, the county is temporarily out of resident quagga mussel stickers because of a two-week delay from the manufacturers.
Ruttan said that in the interim, residents may purchase a non-resident sticker and when the resident stickers arrive, the boater may contact either a screener or a member of Water Resources.
There is no charge for the replacement sticker.
Ruttan said boaters should keep the yellow copy of the original form that can be shown to law enforcement officials. For more information contact Water Resources at 263-2344.
