STEVINSON — Playing in sunny, 75-degree weather, the Kelseyville High School golf team placed 18th out of 21 teams on Monday during the Hilmar Invitational at Stevinson Ranch Golf Club.

The par-72 venue has hosted U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur qualifying.

“Tough course, great course,” Kelseyville coach John Berry said.

Bret Harte won the team title with a score of 331. Ripon was next at 338 and Tracy came in third at 342. Kelseyville finished with 417.

Wyatt Ferrell”s round of 85 paced Kelseyville and Corey Huber finished at 92.

Low round of the tournament went to Andrew Bonner of Ripon with 75. Logan Vos of Ripon Christian was two shots back at 77 and Austin Mack of Liberty Ranch also broke 80 with a 78.

Kelseyville and Mid-dletown open Coastal Mountain Conference South play Thursday in Calistoga.
