LAKEPORT — The second annual Who”s Who Star Revue Celebrity Lip Sync, a fundraiser for the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, takes place April 9 and 10 at the Soper Reese Community Theatre. The theme for 2011 is “Syncing Through The Decades,” with emcee Tom Lincoln introducing each decade in the guise of an entertainer for that specific decade. For instance, for the ”50s, Lincoln will be portraying Jackie Gleason.
There will be two hours of entertainment by Lake County residents impersonating a variety of stars. Cost of general admission is $20 per person for adults and $15 for ages 12 and younger. Premiere seating is also available at four stage-front tables, seating six persons each, where attendees will receive appetizers and champagne. Cost of each table is $350.
There will be two performances at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on April 9 with a 2 p.m. matinee on April 10. The event includes a red-carpet arrival of the stars in classic cars prior to each of the performances.
