I would like to bring to your attention the much-debated subject of the right to bear arms. This has been implemented into the constitution and for good a reason.
People needed to protect themselves.
They needed to hunt for food and ward off animals. In our day and age, there is no need to protect oneself if there are not other people out there carrying guns.
There are plenty of police to squash any threat that may come your way. There are alternatives in case the problem arises, such as learning self-defense or carrying a TASER gun. We are able to go to the store for our food and there is no need to go around shooting the few animals we have left on this planet.
When the government decides to abolish the right to carry a gun, there will be a much safer environment for all.
Plus think of how many kids were shot by accident in their homes with guns.
