CLEARLAKE ?Clearlake Police officers responded to a residence on Alvita Avenue at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday to serve a felony arrest warrant for Marcus Ellis, 32, of Clearlake. According to Sgt. T. Hobbs, Ellis was located inside the residence and arrested on the warrant.
Hobbs said during the arrest, Ellis was found to be in possession of a large quantity of Ecstasy (MDMA), cocaine and $500.
“The currency was seized for asset forfeiture as it appears to be from the illegal sales of narcotics,” Hobbs said. “In addition to the outstanding felony warrant, Ellis was booked into the Lake County Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sales and possession of a narcotic controlled substance.”
