LAKE COUNTY — The second annual “Who”s Who Star Revue Celebrity Lip Sync,” takes place at the Soper-Reese Theatre on April 9 and 10.
The theme is “Syncing Through The Decades,” with emcee Tom Lincoln introducing each decade in the guise of a recognizable entertainer for that specific decade.
Pseudo-star Tina Turner is returning this year, sharing the stage with Milly Vanilly; Whoopi Goldberg with her Sister Act plus Tiny Tim, Elvis, the Supreme”s, Barbra Streisand, Sister Sledge, Liza Minelli, Steve Martin, Madonna, Billy Ray Cyrus and J-Lo. Ten women will be performing Chorus Line from the Broadway musical. Also performing are those portraying Dolly Parton, Lady Ga Ga and Clear Lake High School performing “Glee.” Also on the bill, ZZ Top, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ethel Merman and Robin Hood-Men in Tights!
More than two hours of entertainment by a variety of local impersonators will appearat theater for a cost of $20 per person for adults and $15 for ages 12 and younger.
Added this year for premiere seating with stage front tables, seating six people each. Appetizers and champagne will be served. The cost for each table is $350 with five tables per performance are available.
Three performances are scheduled April 9at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., April 10 a matinee will take place at 2 p.m. Stars will arrive at the Red Carpet in classic cars, just prior to the start of each of the performances.
