KELSEYVILLE — Lakeport Speedway and Kelseyville Lumber are teaming up again for the second annual car show on Saturday at Kelseyville Lumber, located at 3555 N. Main St. in Kelseyville.
In the event the show is rained out Saturday, it will be held Sunday. If Sunday”s date is also rained out, the show will be moved to April 3.
The car show, which organizers expect to be bigger and better this year, serves as a prelude to the start of the Lakeport Speedway season.
Making their first appearance at the car show are cars in the speedway”s new division this year, the Lake County Off Road Extreme Asphalt Outlaws. Drivers will be showing off their cars at the show and signing autographs.
Drivers and cars from the Coors Light Modifieds, the Taco Bell Bombers and the Rental Solution Mini-Stocks divisions will also be in attendance as will new and returning drivers in the Clover Hydro Jammers division.
The car show also includes shifter karts and custom cars.
Children are welcome as there will be a bounce house set up. Track souvenirs also will be on sale. There will be food supplied by Woody”s Bar and Grill along with a hot dog special being cooked up by Kelseyville Lions Club for children.
