Right now many of our fellow citizens are having hard times. Only those who are may know just how hard, as it is not in our character as Americans, to show the pain and suffering we as individuals may be going through.
For those who never have felt this level of inner pain, never have had to feel the feeling of accepting a helping hand, either from family, friends or the government. It is hard to explain what it is like when you lay in the dark where you sleep at night and the magnitude of your present day suffering seems to be a mountain too steep to climb, does the weight of it all, really take its toll on your mind and body.
What is happening each day now for so very many was not caused by something you had any control over whatsoever. It just caught you up in a wave of hard times. Times you were not only ill-prepared to face but, even believe it would happen to you.
It did not happen all at once for everyone in the same boat as you find ourselves in now. You even saw others suffer the downturn before it swept you away and at the time you thought it would not affect you, your family and friends.
Now things are easing a little here and there, yet, has not changed things for you who still must reach out for help. It seems like it will never end. You still know the pain of others around you looking down on your plight, thinking you are not working hard enough to right the position your in.
They judge you by the worn clothing, the lack of many of the material things you once enjoyed, which is shared by others in your family, wife, kids, etc.
You long to bring the good times back to your family and yourself. And in your brave heart you just know that day will come, just don”t know when.
But you need to know that there are many, who do understand your pain and are rooting for you daily. They”re doing what they can to help and are hoping that you stay as strong and brave as you have been these past few years.
Some have been where you are right now. Some have the good hearts to understand the problems you have to face daily and those folks are called, friends, neighbors, family members, and fellow Americans.
There are a lot of us rooting for you and its important that you know this even while too many in the media have lumped you into the group called the unemployed. The media has focused headlines on corporate America and Wall Streets problems, much like the leadership in D.C., that has given billions to them.
Yet they squeal like pigs to help the individuals like yourself with job programs and funds that would bring relief to so many.
