LAKE COUNTY — The Sheriff”s Narcotics Task on Wednesday made two arrests for drug-related offenses and other felony violations of law.
At approximately 11 a.m. narcotics detectives assisted Lake County Probation officers with a probation search on Michael Joseph Santos, 29, of Lakeport. Santos was on formal probation for prior felony narcotics convictions.
During a search of Santos” home, detectives located and seized methamphetamine, hypodermic syringes and a canister of pepper spray. Santos was arrested and booked at the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility for possession of a controlled substance, possession of hypodermic syringes, and being a felon in possession of tear gas.
Also on Wednesday, at approximately 3:45 p.m., narcotics detectives went in search of Ricky Lane McCullough, 57, of Clearlake Oaks. McCullough was listed as a parolee at-large and had a no-bail warrant for his arrest.
McCullough was located at his Schindler Street home and arrested without incident.
Incident to his arrest, detectives conducted a parole search of his home and seized items of narcotics paraphernalia. McCullough was transported and booked at the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility for felony violation of his parole and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
The Sheriff”s Narcotics Task Force will continue its efforts to monitor the activities of known convicted criminals and pursue probation or parole violators.
