LAKEPORT — A judge Friday morning scheduled the preliminary hearing for a Clearlake Oaks man accused of killing his brother to begin at the end of next week.
Alberto Alejandro Montes, 26, is charged with murder for allegedly shooting to death his brother, Rafael Montes, at an Elem Indian Colony home on Oct. 10, 2009.
Judge Richard C. Martin scheduled the estimated daylong preliminary hearing to start April 15 at 9 a.m. at the Lake County Courthouse.
