WINDSOR — The Lake County Diamonds 14-and-under club volleyball team rallied to beat River West 13-25, 25-22, 15-7 in the title match last weekend during tournament play in Windsor.
The Diamonds actually split with River West during earlier pool play, losing the first game 17-25 and winning the second game 25-18. In other pool matches, the Diamonds beat Nomar 25-14, 25-14 and Ukiah 25-19, 25-20.
In the playoffs, the Diamonds beat Kon-octi Bay 25-16, 25-15 before defeating River West in the finals.
Team members are Rachel Wingler, Serena Kacheros, Aliza Atkins, Alyssa Buendia, Amanda Morton, Tay-lor Woodruff, Madison Wynacht and Emily Psalmonds.
