This is in reference to the letter from the gentleman with the son on drugs who is stealing. He said if he would have taken him to church and led him to God, he could have saved him.
First off, I have a family member close to home who is on drugs. The thing that eats at me is either too much credit is given to God or not enough.
A lot of religious people give all the credit when something good happens. When we start killing people in wars or children get murdered. Why don”t we give credit to God on these things?
And please, I don”t want to hear the devil. You have drugs and molesting right in the churches. I”ll tell you what I believe in is choice.
Everybody makes choices in life to go the good way or the bad. So I say that”s blaming the parents or God or the church.
Let the young adult take responsibility for his/her actions and make the right choices.
