KELSEYVILLE — Maybe the rebuilding is over.

After opening the season without a second doubles team and losing their first three matches, the Kelseyville Knights evened their record at 3-3 on Friday afternoon with a 4-1 victory over the Clear Lake Cardinals at Kelseyville.

In singles action, Kelseyville”s Moses Kuzu used a powerful two-handed backhand to defeat Andreina Guedez 6-2, 6-1 in first singles.

“He also had some big serves,” McLaren said of Kuzu

Nils Mostin picked up another win for the Knights with a 6-4, 6-2 victory Gabriela Reyes in second singles. Clear Lake won in third singles as Raul Rendon beat Daniel Lucas 7-5, 6-0.
