LAKE COUNTY ? The auditions are over and the Lake County Arts Council is busy preparing for its 30th annual Spring Dance Festival. The tickets are now on sale.
There will be three performances this year: 1 and 7 p.m. April 30 and 2 p.m. May 1 at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre.
According to publicist Xian Yeagan, this year”s festival will present a veritable smorgasbord of dance. Included are clogging, tap, traditional and lyrical jazz, ballet, hip-hop and hula. Performers of all ages will be featured in this event.
Ticket prices are $15 general admission and $10 for children 12 and younger. Tickets may be purchased at the Lake County Arts Council”s Main Street Gallery, 325 N. Main St.; and Catfish Books in the Willow Tree Plaza in Lakeport.
Reserved seats are available at $20 and may be obtained at the theater box office only, open from noon to 5 p.m. on Thursdays. Tickets may be charged by Visa or Mastercard by calling 263-0577.
