LAKEPORT — More than 20 children ranging in age from 3 to 13 perform as Munchkins and poppies for a joint performace of L. Frank Baum”s “The Wizard of Oz” by Mendocino College Lake Center”s performance and production class and Lake County Theater Company.
Burns Valley School fifth-grade teacher Jenna Radke said she is impressed with all the hard work the children have put into their roles: They come to all the rehearsals, pay close attention and have fun while performing.
Showtimes are at 7 p.m. May 12, 13, 14, 19 and 20 with 2 p.m. matinees on May 15 and 22 at the Lake County Fairgrounds” Little Theater. Cost of reserved seats is $15 for adults and $13 for members, seniors and students.General seating is $12 for adults and $10 for members, seniors and students.
