LAKEPORT ? The Lakeport Main Street Association (LMSA) announced the winners of the Children”s Push Pull Pet Parade that took place last Saturday at Library Park in Lakeport.
Sharing third place honors were Hanna Scully, 7, and Ashley Dahl, 9, dressed as Little Bo Peep with their pet pups as sheep. Sierra Manley, 6, took second place with her dog Tinkerbell, each dressed in lavender and Danny Hunt, 5, was the first place winner, who showed off his pet tortoise and rat in a flower decorated wagon.
Each winner received gift certificates from local stores including Main Street Pizza, Shari”s Secret Garden, Healing Earth and Main Street Gifts.
Pets received treats and toys from Pet Acres and the children received chocolate milk and cookies courtesy of LMSA and Angelina”s Bakery.
Your One Stop Party Shop provided the official parade Easter bunny and the sound system.
The parade was led by Miss Lake County, Lauren Berlinn and Miss Outstanding Teen Lake County, Faith Hornby. LMSA, the parade”s presenter, extends thanks to all of the 20 entrants, the approximately 60 onlookers, 10 volunteers and the parade sponsors, Pet Country and Northlake Vet Clinic.
