LAKEPORT — The Lake County Arts Council (LCAC) presents its First Friday Fling, 5:30 to 7 p.m. this Friday at the Main Street Gallery, located at 325 N. Main St. in Lakeport.

Viewers are invited to look for a brand new show, with seven-plus new artists, including Steve Bilodeau with his original oils of Lake County.

The members of Konocti Pleine Air Plus will be exhibiting their collective works of on-location paintings in various mediums. Diane Constable and Paula Strothers will show their talent in acrylics, as will Linda Richmond with her combined work of acrylic and collage.

Carmen Fox-Ross will exhibit her photographs of Lake County Scenes and more.

Amy Heppen, a new artist to the Main Street Gallery, will show her talent in figurative oils. Heppen is a new member of LCAC; she is the webmaster of the Main Street Gallery”s new website, www.lcacmainstreetgallery.com/. Heppen is also the new editor of the LCAC”s quarterly newsletter, “Art Notes.”

Artists remaining in the May show are Gary Bosman with creations in bone, silver and recycled materials, Marilyn Crayton with a gourd display that includes an Asian doll, Lana Dooleage”s silver and copper jewelery and Meredith Gambrel and Robert Russell exhibiting in oils. Stefen Rotter will display paintings of his pets and a wooden sculpture. Rounding out this show are the leather goods of Curt Westfall.

Adding to the May show are the musicians of the Brittain Family, featuring Buffalo Bob, Carmon and their son, Eric. Shannon Ridge will pour the featured wine for May.
