PG&E, after ignoring the concerns of many of its customers and disregarding the moratorium passed by our locally elected board of supervisors, and after assuring us that SmartMeters will not result in increased fee rates, is now passing on the costs of their installation to ? guess who? Us! Well, I guess I”ll have to take my business elsewhere. Oh! I can”t. It”s a monopoly. So much for democracy and the free market.
