Last Sunday was not only Mother”s Day, but was the occasion of my wife attaining the big five-ooh birthday.
We had celebrations of the event and they were mild and commonplace until Mother Nature joined in. She was considerate enough to wait until dark, near midnight, so her display would be obvious and more spectacular. She staged a light show in the valley, which was awesome.
Being the sometimes considerate, mother she is, she staged the show far enough away that the sound effects would not disturb those good people resting to start the week.
If I knew her address I would certainly send her a thank you note. With her intervention the celebration was then complete and memorable.
