HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE — Investigation into a garage fire Tuesday in Hidden Valley Lake (HVL) continues, according to CALFIRE Battalion Chief Scott Upton. Upton said the fire resulted in minimal damage and no injuries were reported in the incident.
Fire response was requested at approximately 4:26 p.m. to the 16400 block of Firethorn Road in HVL. Engines from the HVL and Middletown station responded as did volunteers of Southlake County Fire Protection District.
Upton said HVL security guards had most of the fire knocked down with dry chemical extinguishers upon firefighters” arrival. The fire was limited to a detached garage at the residence.
Upton said the fire was contained shortly after firefighters” arrival and that fire investigators cleared the scene at approximately 8 p.m. The investigation continues.
