CLEARLAKE — The Clearlake Police Officers” Association (POA) is asking area residents to “save the date” and accept an invitation to its Homeowner”s/Tenants” Safety Class, to be held from at noon June 11 at Clearlake City Hall.
Officers will be on hand to discuss how to increase the safety of your home. The event is free and refreshments will be served. Additionally, the POA will give away 54 new bicycle helmets. Certified fitters will be on hand.
The class will include displays of home safety products available at area retailers. Officers will discuss topics such as lighting, window security, how to protect your vehicle from theft, how to keep proper documentation of valuable property and more. Officers will also discuss how to be a good witness.
