LAKEPORT — More than 130 eighth-grade students from Terrace Middle School celebrated their advancement to high school with a graduation party at Lakeside Family Fun Center in Lakeport Tuesday afternoon.
The students eligible to graduate received their choice of meal and all-inclusive bowling, Lazer Tag and arcade games.
Many fundraising events held throughout the school year, including bake sales, youth basketball concessions and a mystery dinner night for adults, as well as private donations, funded each student”s entry.
The center has already hosted a graduation party for Upper Lake Middle School and Sober Grad events for Middletown and Upper Lake high schools.
Events to come include parties for fourth- and fifth-grade students from elementary schools in Kelseyville and Lakeport and the Lower Lake High School Sober Grad function. The center will have hosted 10 end-of-the-school-year events by the end of the month.
