After hearing of an apparent gang-related beating at a Lake County casino, I have increased respect for Sheriff Rivero”s knowledge and experience.
I had already been impressed with his efforts at cleaning up meth labs, arresting drug traffickers and cost-cutting measures but this incident shows he knew what he was doing in allegedly trying to “blockade” the Hells Angels (as reported in the Record-Bee) from coming into our county a few weeks ago.
Maybe our Lake County DA should concentrate on processing the criminals Sheriff Rivero is ridding us of and stop using the press to micro-manage and nit-pick Rivero. I feel safer living in Lake County since an authentic, professional Sheriff was elected. There”s a new Sheriff in town, to be sure!
