Konocti Vista Casino hosted a tattoo convention. Hundreds of local and out-of-town people attended. It was a very successful two-day business event. There was only one solo incident that occurred during the event and that involved only a few individuals and was not inside the convention area.
Security immediately responded and stopped the conflict. All involved were told to leave and per standard procedure medical assistance was offered, but was declined. No ambulance responded and the situation was secured by KVC security and under control before law enforcement arrived.
Local law enforcement had been notified of the convention being held in advance of the event. Konocti Vista Casino continues to work closely with local law enforcement in all aspects of safety to our community. We have a good working relationship with the Lake County Sheriff and will continue to coordinate our efforts to insure the safety of our guests to the best of our ability.
The tattoo convention itself was a huge success. There were no other issues at the convention, which drew a large attendance of both locals and tourists.
