KELSEYVILLE — The annual summer volleyball camp hosted by Sonoma State and Kelseyville High School takes place July 12-15 at the Kelseyville High School gym.

Session A is for girls entering the sixth through eighth grades in the fall. The cost is $90 and camp hours are 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on July 12-14. Check-in time is 8:30 a.m.

Session B is for girls entering the ninth through 12th grades in the fall. The cost is $110 and camp hours are 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on July 12-14. Check-in time is noon.

July 15 is a bonus day for players in both sessions. Hours will be announced.

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 24 athletes in each group will be accepted. There will be registration at the door on the first day of camp provided room is still available.

Players should bring broken-in court shoes and wear shorts and kneepads. Water is provided but players can bring their own drink if they wish.

Sonoma State volleyball head coach Bear Grassl leads the camp staff. Members of the Kelseyville High staff will assist.

Overhand and underhand passing, spiking, blocking and serving will be taught at the camp. Individual and team offensive formation and individual and team defensive formation also will be covered. Individual training in all skill areas will be provided. Camp athletes will be assigned to ability-level-specific groups.
