LAKE COUNTY — A coordinated effort between the Sheriff”s Narcotics Task Force and the Lake County Probation Department resulted in two felony arrests and the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, and narcotics paraphernalia.
On Wednesday at approximately 10:30 a.m., narcotics detectives assisted probation officers with probation searches on Jamie A. Edwards, 22, and William R. Moore, 24, at a home on Montezuma Way in Kelseyville.
Edwards was on formal felony probation for a grand theft conviction and Moore was on formal felony probation for a prior narcotics conviction.
During the probation search, methamphetamine and several glass meth pipes were found.
Processed marijuana was also seized from the premises as neither suspect possessed a medical marijuana recommendation.
Edwards and Moore were both arrested and transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility for booking.
Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and violation of probation.
The Sheriff”s Narcotics Task Force will continue its efforts to eradicate narcotics from the communities of Lake County and seize the suspected profits of drug trafficking for asset forfeiture whenever possible.
