CLEARLAKE OAKS — The service of a search warrant by the Sheriff”s Narcotics Task Force on Friday morning resulted in the arrest of a Clearlake Oaks woman and the seizure of more than a half-ounce of methamphetamine.
On Tuesday a search warrant was secured for the person, home and vehicles of Tammi Ileine Duran, 47. On Friday morning at approximately 9:30 a.m., narcotics detectives served the warrant at Duran”s home in Clearlake Oaks.
When detectives served the warrant, they received no response at the door so they forced entry into the home. Duran was located in her bedroom and detained without incident.
During a search of the home, detectives located a black lock-box concealed beneath a trash can in Duran”s bedroom. After retrieving the key from Duran”s purse, detectives unlocked the box and located a total of 10 plastic bags containing methamphetamine that were believed to be packaged for sales. The box also contained a digital scale and a glass meth pipe.
Duran was arrested and transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility where she was booked for possession of a controlled substance for sales and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
