KELSEYVILLE — Get fired up with Twice As Good band kicking off the first “Kickin” in the Country” street dance of the season from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday on Main Street in Kelseyville.
Rich and Paul Steward, father-and-son American Indian blues duo, will perform high-energy blues, soul and rock ”n” roll, with screaming guitars, harmonica and soulful vocals backed by the Twice As Good band.
The Kelseyville Business Association (KBA) is pleased to have the band back this year and wants to thank Konocti Vista Resort & Casino for sponsoring, for the second year in a row, this evening of entertainment and dancing for all ages to enjoy.
This year the KBA will also be selling wine, ice cold beer and Martha Munoz will be selling snow cones. The KBA will be raffling off prizes from local businesses. The drawings will take place at 9 p.m.
Bring chairs and mingle with old friends or make new ones, dance in the evening breeze and enjoy.
Upcoming Kickin” In The Country street dances are scheduled for July 21 featuring the Fargo Brothers, who have been performing since 1979, with rock ”n” roll, vocal harmonies and dance music. On Aug. 18, the street dance features Bill Noteman and the Rockets burning up the stage with a blend of Chicago blues and rock ”n” roll known as West Coast jump.
