LAKE COUNTY — Lake County Theater Company is literally going places. Its next production, “Musical of Musicals the Musical,” written by Eric Rockwell with lyrics by Joanne Bogart, will be singing and dancing around Lake County. This musical comedy is written along the lines of a melodrama; how will poor June pay the rent and who will come to her rescue? All will be disclosed before the end of the story.
“The Musical of Musicals the Musical” will be presented:
* At 7 p.m. July 15 and 8 p.m. July 16 at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre;
* At 5 p.m. July 17 during a dinner show at Sicily”s Restaurant in Lakeport;
* At 7 p.m. July 22 and 23 and 2 p.m. July 24 at the Clearlake Oaks Grange; and
* At 7 p.m. July 29 and 30 and 2 p.m. July 31 in Weaver Auditorium at the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum.
The dinner-and-show combo costs $40. Tickets are available at Sicily”s.
Admission to all other performances costs $15 reserved or $13 general seating. There is a $2 discount for members, seniors and students. Tickets are available at Catfish Books in Lakeport, Shannon Ridge Winery in Clearlake Oaks and Griffin”s Furniture in Clearlake.
