CLEARLAKE — The City of Clearlake continues its process to hire a permanent city administrator. The council had selected Tully Clifford to fill the position; however, Clifford will not be taking the position.

“Mr. Clifford is unable to fill the position of city administrator,” City Clerk Melissa Swanson said. “City Engineer Robert Galusha has been appointed by the city council as interim city administrator while the council continues deliberations on a permanent city administrator.”

Sitting as the executive director of the Redevelopment Agency, former Interim City Administrator Steve Albright said Thursday that the council is now considering the second candidate among those applicants reviewed during the selection process.
